Mr. Kohler was a retired equipment operator for the KY State Fairgrounds, a member of Cove Baptist Church and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Among those who preceded him in death include, his wife of 32 years, Charlotte Rose Kohler.
He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Ronna Mitchell, Kelley Chandler (Curtis) Jack Zeitz, Wendy Smith (Gary) and Jennifer Kohler; five grandchildren, Brandon, Alexis, Steven, Dannielle and Rock; a host of other family and friends.
Cremation was chosen and a memorial service will be 1 P.M. Friday at Cove Baptist Church, 509 South Park Road, Fairdale, KY. Friends may pay their respects from 12 P.M. until 1 P.M. at the church. Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) is in charge of the arrangements.
