Barbara Ann Jeffries

 Mrs. Barbara Ann Jeffries, age 77, of Louisville, Kentucky, returned to her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, October 4, 2023. She was born on September 20, 1946, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Sterling and Rita (O’Brien) Waggoner. Barbara was a member of Kenwood Christian Church, she enjoyed working in her yard, shopping, “always looking for a good bargain”, yard sales, and she loved jewelry. She also took wonderful care of her grandchildren as they grew up over the years, and she remained super sassy until the end. Barbara will be truly missed by all who knew her.

 She is preceded in death by her parents; her late husband Kennedy Eugene Jeffries, daughter Rita Mae Jeffries, and son-in-law Larry Joe Adcox.

She leaves to cherish her memory her three daughters, Cyndi Suttle (Rusty), Vicki Adcox, Christy Jeffries-Kelley (Travis), seven grandchildren, Timothy Hill, Justin Hill (Jessica), Cassidy McClure (Branden), Kristain Adams (James), Abigail Kelley, Aidan Kelley, and Avery Kelley, four great-grandchildren, Daton Adcox, Kameron Adcox, Paisley Adams, and Karlee Foster, brother Victor Waggoner (Louise), and sister Debbie Blevins (Donnie), along with a host of other dear family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, October 9, 2023, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd). Family and friends may pay their respects on Monday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 6:00 p.m. Cremation to follow.
