Mrs. Barbara Ethyl Underwood, age 82, of Louisville, returned to her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, July 30, 2024. Mrs. Underwood was born in Louisville, KY on November 3, 1941 to the late Joseph Allen Mikesell and Ruby Goode Mikesell.
In addition to her parents, her sisters, Velva Brinley and Betty Sanders preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her beloved husband of 64 years, Thomas “Tom” Howard Underwood; daughter, Karen Marie Price; grandson, Michael Koenig
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens. Friends and family may pay their respects on Monday, August 5, 2024 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Tuesday from 11:00 am until the time of her service at 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
