Bette Rose Connelly

Elizabeth (Bette) Rose Denzinger Connelly, age 92, of Louisville, Kentucky returned to her Heavenly Father on January 8, 2025. Mrs. Connelly was born on August 6, 1932, to the late Benjamin S. Denzinger, Sr. and Augusta “Lukat” Denzinger. Mrs. Connelly was a member of Okolona Christian Church. She loved being a part of the church choir and singing in the Living Christmas Tree, was very active with her childhood friends in a Bunco Club, loved spending time at the Ohio River and Nolin Lake with her family and loved to swim, water ski and scuba dive. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert W.; daughter, Robin Connelly Maddux: brother, Benjamin S. Denzinger, Jr.. Mrs. Connelly leaves to cherish her memory her children, Mike Connelly (Sue), Mark Connelly (Diane) and Russ Connelly (Laura); grandchildren, Adam Connelly (Amber), Heather Kendrick (Matt), Chris Connelly (Jennifer), Doug Connelly (Chelsea), Jennifer Connelly, Katie Connelly, Allison Wampler (John), Ben Maddux (Laura), Matt Maddux (Riley). Ethan Maddux, Marie Life (Pierce), Tina Maddux and Nate Maddux (Anna); and a host of many other loving family and friends. Funeral Services will be held at 10am on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial to follow in Cave Hill Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, from 3 pm until 8pm and Wednesday from 9am until the time of the service at the funeral home.
