Beulah Christine King

Beulah Christine King, age 83, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky returned to her Heavenly Father on Friday, September 4, 2020.  Beulah was born in Boyle County, Kentucky on May 13, 1937 to Dell and Daisy “Baugh” Girtley. She is preceded in death by her husband, Danus Jolen King; parents; 4 sisters; and 3 brothers. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Danita Schultz (John), Delvina Johnson (Terry), Letitia Hodge, Danus Jolen King II (Annette), Treena Wilson (Audie); sister, Ann Gilpin; grandchildren, Roy Hodge II, John Hodge, Talitha Lerding, Michael Johnson, Laura Wilson, John Schulz II, Dan Schulz, Christine Schulz, Nicole Dement, Cheyenne Lewis, Luke King, Clay King, and Kelly Lewis; 16 great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. Funeral service will be held at 2pm on Monday, September 14, 2020 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial to follow at Brookland Cemetery. Friends and Family may pay their respects on Sunday from 2pm until 8 pm and on Monday from 10am until time of service at the funeral home.
