Beverly Lynn Polston

Beverly Lynn Polston, age 66, of Louisville, Ky passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, with her family by her side. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky on August 5,1959, to the late John William Carver, Sr. and Virginia Eva (Darnell) Carver. She retired after many years of work as a Registered Nurse in the healthcare field. She was a loving and devoted mother, sister, and grandmother. She graduated in the class of 1977 at Moore High School, she was a hardcore Cincinnati Reds baseball fan, and Kentucky Colonels basketball team. Beverly, rescued and cared for animals over the year’s most recent her fur babies Oscar, Cali, and Buddy.  She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, her late husband Steven Troy Polston, son Daniel “Dan” Polston, sister Alice Bradley and brother-in-law Bill Polston, brother John “Johnny” W. Carver Jr. and nephew Joey Harper.

She is survived by her son Matthew “Matt” Steven Polston, daughter-in-law- Trisha Polston (Darin Priest), grandchildren Kendall and Connor, sister Cathy Harper, brother-in-law Keith Polston (Amy), sister-in-law Pam Polston. Along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other dear family and friends.

A Memorial service will be held on Friday, September 26, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. at Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N. Preston Hwy, at John Harper Freeway). The visitation will be held on Friday, September 26, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Cremation was chosen.
