Among those who preceded him in death include, his sister, Carol Daugherty.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Yvonne Daugherty; daughters, Stephanie Brooks (Chad) and Sara Fint (Donnie); grandchildren, Emma and Max; beloved canine companion, Mr. Tripper and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 am on Saturday, June 14, 2014 at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.; use John Harper entrance) with interment in Brookland Cemetery. Friends and family may pay their respects on Friday from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Saturday from 9:00 am until the time of service at Schoppenhorst. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Humane Society.
