Brenda Joyce Jones

Brenda Joyce Jones, age 69, of Louisville, returned to her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, August 25, 2020. She was born in Breckinridge Co, Kentucky, on August 25, 1951 to the late Charles and Anna Coy.  Mrs. Jones was a Cook and Head Baker for Jefferson County Board of Education.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband Ernest Jones, Sr., and her granddaughter Jessica Jones. She leaves to cherish her memory her 2 sons Ernest Jones, Jr., and Teddy Jones; 2 brothers; Thomas Coy (Teresa) and Richard Coy; her grandchildren April, Trish, Cody, Darrin and Kamryn; and 7 Great Grandchildren.

 Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at 12 p.m. in the chapel of  Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.)  with burial to follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central. Friends may pay their respects on Monday, September 7, 2020 from 1-8 p.m. and on Tuesday until the time of service at the funeral home.
