I grew up across the street from Brenda and Dennis her granddaughter Courtney and my niece Allison played together at that time I only knew Ms.Brenda in passing then as I liked to call her.I got know her better through her friendship with my mother Pam. She is and was a kind and loving woman ,she was more concerned about my mom when I was very sick fighting for get healthy after an unexpected lifesaving surgery then her own well being, I'm grateful to Ms.Brenda for the love and support and prayers she was sending during my illness. I was blessed to see Ms.Brenda on Thanksgiving day this past year she was resting but she said she had seen me so that she knew that I was home finally with my family. Ms.Brenda you will always be my family and 1 more Angel on my shoulder watching over me. I love you Ms.Brenda I Thank You for the love and support through the years.

Altruism is the practice of selfless concern for the well-being of others. Many believe that this phenomena does not truly exist, I beg to differ. Brenda did so much for others and never asked for anything in return. I credit her for the woman that I am today. She taught me to be a fierce, strong, independent woman and I could never thank her enough for giving me a chance in life. I love you and appreciate you more than you could ever know. A day will not go by that I do not see a glimpse of you in myself. I will forever miss you and never forget you, Granny.

I worked with Brenda at Louisville Laminating plant years ago. Brenda was a very nice person. I remember giving her a  doll one time. So so sorry for your loss I will be thinking about your family   Vicki Daniel
