Carl Burt Wilson

Mr. Carl Burt Wilson, age 74, of Okolona returned to his Heavenly Father on July 3, 2021. Mr. Wilson was born on June 8, 1947 in Louisville, KY to the late Carl and Della Mae (Moore) Wilson. Mr. Wilson worked for General Electric for 37 years as an assembler. He was a union steward and coordinator for building 5 during that time. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton. He was an avid University of Kentucky fan. Among those that preceded him in death are his parents, daughter, Sheila (Wilson) Hampton; and six siblings.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 56 years, Belinda (Caulk) Wilson; children, Michael Wilson (Shelley), Kimberly Thacker (Kenny), and Carl H. Wilson; six grandchildren, Alicia, Brad, Pamela, Mikey, Ashton, and Zaylee; seven great-grandchildren; and sisters, Stella Hardin and Faye Pittman.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church (11501 Maple Way Louisville, KY 40229) with interment in Pennsylvania Run Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects on Wednesday from 1-8 pm at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road). Family video on www.subfuneralhome.com
