Carrie Nicole Maupin

Carrie Nicole Maupin, age 29, of Shepherdsville, KY, returned to her Heavenly Father on Thursday, January 27, 2022. Carrie was born in Martin, KY on January 28, 1992, to Willard Kidd and Mary (Blackburn) Kidd. Carrie was a housewife, a member of Little Flock Baptist Church, she loved animals, the beach, nature, and wildflowers. Carrie’s personality was fun-loving, friendly, kind, generous and caring. Her sweet smile and twinkle in her eyes brought comfort to all those around her. When you look into your mother’s eyes, you know that it’s the purest love you can find on earth. Her love was like invisible elastic, no matter how far I go we are connected.

She leaves to cherish her memory her parents; husband Aaron Maupin, two sons, Logan Maupin, and Preston Blancett, step children, Erin Maupin, William Maupin; two sisters, Kristien D. Kidd, Jessica D. Kidd, one brother, Ernest H. Kidd, mother-in-law, Vernee Blancett, foster mother, Connie Atkins, along with a host of other dear family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 12, 2022, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road). Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2022, from 10: 00 am until time of service.
