Charles A. Shaw

Charles A. Shaw Sr., age 63, of Hillview returned to his Heavenly Father on Saturday, June 10, 2017 with family by his side. He was a funeral director for Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home and a member of Ray of Hope Christian Fellowship Church. Mr. Shaw was a mason with Zoneton Masonic Lodge 964, a member of the Scottish Rites and a Kosair Shriner Noble. He loved fishing, gambling, boating and cruising. Among those that preceded him in death include his parents, Harold G. Shaw, Sr. and Jewell D. Shaw. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Loretta Shaw; sons, Charles A. Shaw Jr., Jeffery Shaw (Angie) and Randy Shaw (April); grandchildren, Devin, Savanna, Desiree, Kyler, Paige, Peyton, Sabrina, Jonathon, Maddox and Mason; brothers, Harold G. Shaw Jr., Frank and Edward Shaw; sister, Teresa Shaw; and a host of other family and friends. Funeral service will be conducted at Noon on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with burial in Highland Memory Gardens. Friends may pay their respects from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home with a masonic service at 7 p.m. Obituary on www.subfuneralhome.com.
