Cindy C. Newkirk

Mrs. Cindy C. Newkirk, age 54, of Fairdale, returned to her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, January 20, 2021. Cindy was born in Louisville, KY on January 11, 1967 and she was a hair stylist at Legendz Salon and Spa.

Her father, Almon Brooks preceded her in death.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 35 years, Troy Newkirk; children, Brian Newkirk (Leslie), Quentin Newkirk (Danielle) and Aisha Simpson (Brandon); grandchildren, Aiden, Jace, Addison, Arya, Jagger, Paisley and Saige; her mother, Diana Brooks; siblings, Jennifer Yates (Bruce) and Tom Brooks (Jodi); a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other dear family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial to follow at Mt. Holly Cemetery. Friends and family may pay their respects on Tuesday from 12:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Wednesday from 10:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
