Connie Sue Murphy

Mrs. Connie Sue Murphy, age 67, of Shepherdsville, KY, returned to her Heavenly Father on Sunday, July 3, 2022. Connie was a beloved wife, mother, and sister, and Mamaw. She was born November 6, 1954, in Springfield, Illinois to the late William Austin Squires, and Margaruite (Smith) Squires. Connie was Christian by faith, she enjoyed bingo, cookouts with family and friends, shopping, and getting her nails done. But most of all she loved her grandchildren and family. Connie will live on in her family’s hearts and memories forever.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Austin, and Margaruite Squires

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband Albert L. Murphy of which she was married to for 35 years, her children, Todd Murphy (Angel), Suzanne McStoots (Paul), and Jaclyn Murphy, grandchildren, Tyler Leech, Jessie Kotheimer (Travis), Corey Weiss, Alison Murphy, and Rian Murphy, 2 great- grandchildren, Maya Weiss, Elena Weiss, siblings, Judy Medlin (Phillip), Phyllis Medlin, and Don Squires (Eva). Along with a host of other dear family and friends.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday July 8, 2022, at 5:00 p.m. in the chapel at (Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home).

Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday July 8, 2022, from 3:00p.m. till 5:00p.m. Burial Saturday morning graveside at 10:00 a.m. at Brookland Cemetery.
