Among those who preceded him in death include, his parents, John Milton and Ruby Jane Fitzpatrick and his great niece, Kayla Michelle Hall.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter, Gina Fitzpatrick (Chad); grandson, Robert Myers IV; siblings, Michael Fitzpatrick (Gail), Rhonda Fitzpatrick, Deborah Fitzpatrick, Anita Fitzpatrick and Steve Fitzpatrick (Patsy); nephews, Chad Vanover, Johnny Fitzpatrick and Chris Fitzpatrick; nieces, Dana Atkins and Deidra Mullins and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted at 7:30 pm on Monday, June 30, 2014 at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.; use John Harper entrance). Friends and family may pay their respects on Monday from 5:00 pm until the time of service at Schoppenhorst. Friends and family may gather at Louisville Cemetery on Tuesday at 11:00 am for burial. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family.
