David J. Bishop

Mr. David J. Bishop, age 84, of Shepherdsville, returned to his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, December 30, 2015. Mr. Bishop was a retired boilermaker, a member of Bullitt Lick Baptist Church and a member of Miles Masonic Lodge #341.

Among those who preceded him in death include his parents, Leo and Fern Bishop; brothers, Leroy and William Bishop.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 64 years, Mildred Howlett Bishop; son, Mike Bishop (Jackie); daughter, Linda D. Richardson (Thomas); grandchildren, Greg and Jason Richardson, Andy and Ryan Bishop; great grandchildren, Jacob, Breanna, Camrin and Talon Richardson, Clara, Jacob, Sara, and Boone Bishop and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 10 a.m. Monday in the chapel of Preston Hwy Schoppenhorst with burial in Highland Memory Gardens. Friends may pay their respects on Sunday 2-8 p.m.
