David "Corky" Lee Duvall

Mr. David “Corky” Duvall, 67, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, November 9, 2024. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky on January 10, 1957, to the late Thomas J. Duvall, Sr. and Gwendolyn Sue (Judd) Sweeney. He retired from Duvall’s Lawn Service, and BASF. He was a loving and dedicated husband, father, and papaw. He enjoyed watching the Cincinnati Reds play baseball, was an avid University of Kentucky Wildcat fan, however, most of all he loved all his family and will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death his by father, Thomas J. Duvall Sr., stepfather, Marvin Lee Sweeney, and stepbrother Kevin Sweeney.      

He leaves behind his loving wife of 42 years, Kathy Duvall, daughter, Alisha Duvall Sternberg (Tony), son Chris Duvall (Alyssa), 4 grandchildren, Shaun Southard, Dylan Ruffra, Aleah Sternberg, Renley Sternberg, mother, Gwendolyn Sweeney, brothers, Thomas J. Duvall, Jr. (Karen), Steven Duvall (Michelle), sisters, Kim Sweeney, Tonya Sheehan, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other dear family and friends. 

Cremation was chosen. A celebration of life will be later.
