David Mark Emmons

Mr. David Mark Emmons, age 59, of Louisville, Ky passed away suddenly on Monday February 10, 2025. David was born in Rockford, Illinois on July 31, 1965, to the late Chellis Emmons and Joan (Witt) Emmons. He was a Navy Veteran, he was an I.T. technologist, he liked to listen to good music, a foodie and a excellent cook. He also enjoyed a great glass of bourbon. David will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister Susan Weiss  

He is survived by his sister Mary Imlay (Jeff), brother Robert Emmons (Fred), 4 nephews Benjamin Imlay (Sam), Marcus Imlay (Kimmie), Alex Weiss (Chelsea), Aaron Weiss (Erika), 2 great-nephews and 2 great-nieces, brother-in-law Michael Lowe Weiss (Leslie), along with a host of other dear family and friends. 

Memorial visitation will be held Wednesday, February 19, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with a Memorial service to follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Cremation was chosen.
