David Carroll Nethery

David Nethery, age 80, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky returned to his Heavenly Father on June 16, 2023. David was born in Waddy, Kentucky on August 7, 1942, to Ray and Clara Nethery. He was retired from General Electric, Heritage Creek Police Dept, FOP Metropolitan Lodge #32 Navy Veteran, Masonic lodge and a Shriner. He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Homer Ray Nethery and a grandson, Aaron Nethery. David leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Joyce; sons, Ross Nethery, Tommy Joe Nethery; daughter, Dana Nethery; stepsons, Wayne Edwards, T.C. Harmon and Michael Dickens; sisters, Elaine Philpott and Sharon Beauchmp; 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. A funeral service will be held at 11:30 am on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends and Family may pay their respects on Tuesday, June 20 from 1 pm until 8 pm and on Wednesday 9:30 am until time of service at the funeral home.
