Dolores Marie Ross

surrounded by her loving family. Dee was born in Louisville, Ky. She graduated from Charm Beauty School, becoming a Cosmetology Instructor, then owner and operator of Ideal Beauty Academy in Jeffersonville, In. 

She is preceded in death by her mother, Alda Jackson, and her brother, David “Butch” Smothers.

Dee is survived by her husband of 33 years, David Ross; her sisters, Mary Ring (Dick) and Jackie Hippler (Josh); her brother, Tony Payne (Tammy); sister-in-law, Hazel Smothers; her children, Angela Kennedy, Cheri Snider, and Christy Jackman (Jason); her stepchildren Michelle Giles (Steve) and Michael Ross; ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral Service will be held on July 2, at 12:00 PM in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd). Friends may pay their respects on Thursday, July 1, from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and on Friday, July 2, from 9:00 AM until time of Service.
