Donald Wayne Hatfield, Sr.

Mr. Donald “Don” Wayne Hatfield, Sr., age 80, of Louisville, returned to his Heavenly Father on Sunday, July 24, 2022. Mr. Hatfield was born in Bullitt County, KY on July 9, 1942 to the late J.W. Hatfield and Elsie Marion Hatfield. He retired from Bill Collins Ford after 52 years of dedicated service and loved to spend time in nature fishing and hunting.  

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 22 years, Debbie M. Hatfield; children, Donnie Hatfield, Jr. (Laura), David Hatfield (Diana), Kimberly Norman (Ronnie) and Debra Jones; stepchildren, Amy Childers (Carl) and Amanda Graves; 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; siblings, Glenda Daniels (Bill), Mary Lou Stevens and Jay Hatfield (Cheryl); his beloved cat, Josie Marie Hatfield and a host of other dear family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 6:00 pm on Friday, July 29, 2022 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with cremation to follow. Friends and family may pay their respects on Friday from 12:00 pm until the time of his service at 6:00 pm at the funeral home.
