Dotson Keith Johnson

Mr. Dotson “Keith” Johnson, age 88, of Louisville, Kentucky returned to his Heavenly Father on Monday, April 13, 2020. He was born in Cadiz, Kentucky on March 14, 1932 to the late Amos and Lois (Keith) Johnson.  He retired from General Electric where he was in maintenance.  Mr. Johnson was a devout Christian and a member of the Church of God faith. He was a very talented musician.  He loved playing the guitar and singing.  Mr. Johnson loved the beauty of God’s nature and walked four miles every day. He lived his life in the word of God daily. He was a loving family man who loved his children and grandchildren dearly. He was loved by all who had the privilege to know him, he will be greatly missed. 

He is preceded in death by his loving wife Annis (Henderson) Johnson; his son, Bryan Neal Johnson and his brother Hayden Johnson.He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Sheila Johnson and Kevin Johnson (Melissa); Dean Johnson (Shelia),  siblings,  Margie Glover, Gene Johnson (Twanna), Gerald Johnson (Sue), Deanna Lang (Heinz) and  Merrill Johnson (Debbie); 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; his church family; and a host of other family and friends.

The family has chosen cremation. Due to the COVID-19 Virus a memorial service will be planned for a later date at which time the family will reach out. Expressions of sympathy and floral arrangements can be made at that time. Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) are handling the arrangements.
