Among those who preceded him in death include, his wife, Agnes Hollis; son, David Caudill and grandsons, Nick Caudill and Blake Whited.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughters, Tammy McCauley (Brian), Candace Whited (Tim), Sandra Whitaker (Michael) and Vicki Cowles (Ronnie); grandchildren, Chase, Tanner, Dustin, Misti (Bryan), Brandon, Matthew, Michael (Amber), Kaylee and Kylee; great -grandchildren, Dallas, Devin, Karlie, Keatyn, Emma, Grace, Sophie, Ava, Bralynn, Caden, Layne and Kannon; siblings, Nancy Ramirez, Gary Hollis, Donna Cundiff and Dan Hollis (Lisa) and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, June 30, 2016 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with interment in Brookland Cemetery. Friends and family may pay their respects on Wednesday from 2:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
