Elizabeth (Beth) Collins Hudson

Ms. Elizabeth (Beth) Collins Hudson, age 40, of Louisville, Ky, returned to her Heavenly Father on Sunday, April 30, 2023. Beth was born in Louisville, KY on August 2, 1982, to Luther Clay Collins and Shelly (Collins) Vowels. She was a member of Harrison Lane Baptist Church, Beth never had a shortage of words she loved to talk, talk, and talk. Reading books gave her great joy, she liked camping, and her lifelong friends Nikki and Anna, kept her smiling and her bonus family Edna, Rayne, and Erica, she loved them all. Beth was crazy about her Mamaw Collins, and she will be truly missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Marvin and Carol Collins, and Cecil and Jacqueline Clayborn, niece Cynthia D. Collins and baby Jonathan Collins, uncles, Lloyd and Ricky Bethel, and aunt, Melissa Tingle.

She leaves to cherish her memory her father Luther Collins, mother Shelly Vowels, brother, Jerry Collins (Andrea), brother, Aaryn Walls,and brother Joseph Vowels, nephews, Zachary, and Caleb Collins, and boyfriend Stacy Burlison. Along with a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. and other dear family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial to follow at Highland Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects on Monday May 8, 2023, from 12:00 noon until 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday May 9,2023, from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
