George Herman Krebs, Jr.

Mr. George Herman Krebs, Jr., age 71, of the South End returned to his Heavenly Father on January 12, 2019. Mr. Krebs was born on July 8, 1947 in Louisville, KY to the late George, Sr. and Elenora Krebs. Mr. Krebs was a mechanic and driver for ImportDoktor. He was a member of Gilda’s Club and Cove Baptist Church. He was a United States Air Force veteran and served with the 123rd Air National Guard. Among those that preceded him in death are his parents; and daughter, Maria Elizabeth Krebs. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 25 years, Angie Krebs; children, Julie Smith, Tyler Krebs, Robert Ott (Brittany), Tiffany Johnson, Harlee Duncanson, Isaiah Krebs and Kaylee Johnson; grandchildren, Tyler, Molly, Preston, Gavin, Peyton, Brynlee, Adalyn, Mia and Gage; and sister, Elenora Cole (Sandy).

Funeral service will be conducted at 5 pm on Sunday, January 20, 2019 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with interment in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, KY on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at 1:30 pm.
