Harry Lee Cooper

Harry L. Cooper, age 77 of Hillview, KY returned to his Heavenly Father Wednesday, November 3, 2017. Mr. Cooper was retired from Phillip Morris and was a former Councilman for the city of Hillview and a former resident of Highland Park, KY.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Lenora (Hager) Cooper; first wife, Elizabeth Cooper; son, Tony Cooper; brother, Ronnie Cooper, George Cooper; sister, Karen Goffinett and Billie Jo Tucker.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Michelle R. Cooper; daughters, Dena McCune(Chuck) and Rena Cooper (Dewey); stepsons, Mark Elliott (Madison), Matthew Elliott; grandchildren, Jessica, Miranda (Zach), Anthony Cooper, Clayton Pearl (Sarah), Charlie McCune, Hope (Justin) and Faith (Scott) Sneed and Tyler Newton, Nikki Foster, Calvin Elliott; 17 great grandchildren; sister, Ester Lyons; and a host of family and friends.

Funeral service will be held 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 7, 2017 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd) with burial in Brookland Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects Monday, November 6, 2017 from 12 p.m. until 8 p.m. and after 10 a.m. Tuesday until the time of the service.

Expression of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Down Syndrome of Louisville in honor of Harry Cooper.
