

Heather Leann Colyer, born on June 2, 1973, from Bardstown, KY but born in Fairborn, Ohio, passed away on April 14, 2026, leaving behind a life marked by compassion, devotion, and a spirit of adventure that touched all who knew her.
Heather lived her life with a generous heart and a steady sense of purpose. She was known for the kindness she extended to others, the warmth of her presence, and the quiet Strength she carried through every season of life. As a nurse, she devoted herself to caring for others with patience, dignity, and grace. Her work reflected the very best of who she was, and she approached each day with a sincere desire to help, comfort, and uplift those in her care.
Heather was a loving wife to Terry Colyer and a proud mother to her sons, Zane Crady (Emily) and Brandon Colyer. Her family was the center of her world, and she cherished the moments they shared together. She is also survived by her parents, Gary and Dottie, and her brothers, Bobby Craig and Gene Craig, all of whom held a special place in her heart.
She treasured her time with her family and her dogs, cat and chickens who brought her comfort and joy.
A visitation will be held at Hardy-Close Funeral Home 285 S. Buckman Street Shepherdsville, Kentucky 40165 on Monday, April 20, 2025 from 11AM to 1PM. Family and friends will share memories, stories, and Bible verses at 1PM.
