Henry Lewis "Bud" Hendricks

Mr. Henry L. Hendricks, (Bud) age 96 of Shepherdsville, returned to his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, April 6, 2021. Mr. Hendricks of Muhlenberg County, KY was born on September 24, 1924 to the late James Daniel and Lizzie Pearl “France” Hendricks. He was a WWII Army Veteran, he retired from Louisville Medical Center as a chilled water operator, a former member of Ralph Avenue Baptist Church for 42 years where he was a Deacon, a current member of Little Flock Baptist Church. He loved U/K basketball, he enjoyed his lake home along with fishing, yardwork, and most of all his family.

He was predeceased by the love of his life Mary Hendricks whom he was married to for 65 years, and his daughter Mary “Rosina” Owen.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his sons, Robert Hendricks, (Kathy) Kenny Hendricks, (Karen), daughter Lynette Reynolds (Tommy); grandchildren Jonathan Hendricks (Angela), Travis Reynolds, Heather Smith, Kyle Burton (Sam), Joyce Pierce, (Harry) and Tony Curtis; 9 greatgrandchildren, 1 great- great- grandchild  and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 10 am on Monday, April 12, 2021 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Friends and Family may pay their respects on Sunday from 1:00 pm until 8 pm and from 9am until the time of service at the funeral home.
