Irene Elizabeth (Westbay) Johnson

Irene Elizabeth (Westbay) Johnson, 67, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky returned to her heavenly father on May 31, 2018. Mrs. Johnson was born on September 6, 1950 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Louis H. and Catherine M. Westbay.

Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her son, Louis “Herbie” Johnson; granddaughter, Catherine Nicole Johnson; siblings, Louis Westbay, Judy Westbay, and Arkie Westbay.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 50 loving years, Robert “Larry” Johnson; children, Robert “Robbie” Johnson, Jr. (Tammy) and Todd Johnson (Kim Frazier); grandchildren, Robert (Keeton) Johnson (Krystal), Cortnie McDonald (Michael), Tanner Johnson, Addyson Johnson, Alex Johnson, Danika Johnson, Cayson Johnson, and Kristen Flener; greatgrandchildren, Haylee, Sydney, Karley, Klayton, Bailey, Paislee, Benson, Knox, and Paxton; siblings, Edward “Ebbie” Westbay, William “Willie” Westbay, Bernard “Bernie” App, along with a host of many friends and family.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm on Monday, June 4, 2018 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd.) with burial at Brookland Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects Sunday, June 3, 2018 from 11:00 am until 8:00 pm and on Monday from 10:00 am until the time of the service at 12:00 pm.
