James Kenneth Jones

Mr. James Kenneth Jones, age 89, of Bagdad, Kentucky, returned to his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, March 2, 2022. Mr. Jones was born in Vine Grove, KY on April 2, 1932 to the late James R. Jones and Jessie M. Hobbs Jones. He was a member of Graefenburg Baptist Church (Waddy, KY.) and Quail Unlimited.

Among those who preceded him in death are, his loving wife, Betty Ann Jones; sister, Glennie Fae Gastinger and his brother, Leo Jones.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his son, Kenneth Lee Jones; daughters, Judy Keene (Dan) and Debbie LaRue (Jason); grandchild, Casey Turner (Grant); great- grandchildren, Wyatt Turner and Isabella Turner; brother, Donald Jones (Debbie) and a host of other dear family and friends.

The family of Mr. James Kenneth Jones would like to express their gratitude to his dedicated caregivers, Lisa Anderson, Wilma Barnett and Amy Loman along with the staff of Hosparus.

 Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Monday, March 7, 2022, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial to follow at Brookland Cemetery. Friends and Family may pay their respects on Sunday from 2 pm until 8 pm on Monday from 9:00 am until time of service at noon the funeral home.
