Michelle and Kenny,  So sorry for your loss.  I lost my mother-in-law last month, so I know what you are going through.  Just remember all the good times and it will help you with the sadness.  You have my sympathy.  Sue

Grandma, I am going to miss you so much. I'm going to miss the homemade pickles and canning tomatoes with you this summer. I'm sure grandpa will teach me how.   As most of you know, my granmda loved her garden and her kitty cats. I hope to keep the garden going to cherish the memories made.   Please watch over all of us from heaven. I will see you when I get there. Fly high and enjoy your new life with God.  I love you!!!!!

Jean was always so welcoming and sweet to me, as if I were a member of the family.  She was always in a good mood and a happy person.  I'm so very sorry for the loss of such a great woman and member of this family. I want you all to know how much she meant to me and how deeply sorry I am for your loss. I will keep each of you in my thoughts and prayers.

My Aunt Jean was more than special to me.  She was my second momma and my friend. Her heart and love for people and animals always set the bar high for others to learn from. I wish I could witness the reunion she must be having with her parents, my Nanny and Papa.  Two other examples of outstanding, kind and loving people. This is a huge loss for our family, but we have faith that we now have another golden heart watching out for us from above.  We will see you again when the Lord calls us home.  Until then we keep you with us in our hearts.  We love you.

Dear Luther:  My heart goes out to you at this terrible loss of our dear Jean.  She was so much fun and just a wonderful gal.  She always had a warm smile for me.  I loved wondering the fields, brooks, and byways of Kentucky looking for millions of year old treasures.  We had such a great time all those years.  Let me know if I can do anything for you. Jean Peak was an exceptional person.  She was so kind and loving that it didn't take long to form a close friendship.      Jean, Luther, and friends from KYANA Geological Society, have spent many great days out in the field, collecting fossils and minerals. Jean could always see the beauty and wonder of the ancient world exposed in the rocks around her.  However, Jean was just as likely to find some beautiful flowers or wildlife to enjoy.  She always saw the goodness and beauty in nature, and the people around her.       Jean was such a giving person.  She always had a home cooked dish or fresh vegetables to share with us at KYANA gatherings.  I can remember many happy hours spent at Charlie's, sitting under the Maple trees and sharing stories and good times.      Jean never had a bad thing to say about anyone.  She could always find some good. She will be sorely missed by me, and all her friends at KYANA.
