Jewell Dean (Logan) Miller

Mrs. Jewell Dean (Logan) Miller, age 80, of Hillview, returned to her Heavenly Father on Friday, April 27, 2018.  Mrs. Miller was born on November 20, 1937 in Whitley Co., Kentucky to the late Roscoe “Ted” and Nora Logan.

Among those who preceded her in death include her brother and sister, Leon Logan and Alma Jean Harrison; and her sister-in-law, Ruth Logan.

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband of 64 years, Troy Miller Sr.; 5 children, Teresa Fortin, Elizabeth Truax (Bill), Troy Miller Jr., Timothy Miller, and Jerry Miller; a daughter by choice, Kimberly Payne; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; her “bestest” friend, Marceline Hyden; her brother-in-law and his wife, Johnny and Peggy Miller; and a host of other dear family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 5:00 pm on Tuesday May 1, 2018 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with cremation to follow. Friends may pay their respects on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 from 3:00 pm until the time of service at the funeral home.
