Jimmie Carol Cox

Jimmie Carol Cox, age 81 of Shepherdsville, returned to her Heavenly Father on Friday, January 10, 2020 with her family by her side. She was preceded in death by her parents, Davis and Pauline Peyton; and brother-in-law, William Adkins.

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband, Hubert Cox; children, Scott Frank (Carey) and Leslie Sandefur (Darrell); step-son, Hubert Steven Cox; grandchildren, Lydia Sandefur, Anna Sandefur, Cora Sandefur, Justin Frank, and Haley Adcock; sister, Glenna Adkins; and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at 10:00am in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood, & Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd), with burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 from 2:00pm until 8:00pm and on Wednesday from 9:00am until time of the service at the funeral home.
