John Ball

John Ball Jr. age 72 of Fairdale was born October 4, 1940 to the late John Paul and Mary Zemra Ball and returned to his Heavenly Father August 16, 2013, Mr. Ball was a member of Harvest Baptist Church , a retired employee for Armor Packing Company and a veteran of the United States Army.

Among those who preceded him in death include his parents and a brother, James Ball.

He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Mildred Spratt Ball; daughter, Donna Ball Brooks; sister, Sharon Theiyer; three grandchildren, Tiffaney Prisk (Cody), Branden Brooks and Brittney Brooks (Antonio); six great grandchildren, Brookelynn, David, Riley, Bryson, Landen and Braxston; a host of other family and friends, which include a special nephew, Bobby Chamberlain.

Funeral service will be held 12 P.M. Tuesday at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with interment in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects from 12 P.M. until 8 P.M. Monday at Schoppenhorst.
