Mr. John Allen Clopton, age 58, of Meade County, returned to his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, June 26, 2019. Mr. Clopton was born in Louisville, KY on May 13, 1961 to the late William and Iris Clopton. Among those who preceded him in death are his parents; and brothers, William (Billy) Clopton, David Clopton and Jack Clopton. He leaves to cherish his memory his sisters, Lynn Huff and Nola Avery (Jimmy); and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be held at 6pm on Saturday, June 29, 2019 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with cremation to follow. Friends may pay their respects on Saturday from 2pm until 6pm at the funeral home.
