Joseph "Joe" Dudley Johnston

Joseph “Joe” Dudley Johnston, age 79, of Louisville, KY passed away on Monday, October 20, 2021. Joe was born in Springfield, Ky on August 19, 1942, to the late Thomas Leo Johnston, Sr., and Margie R. “Haydon” Johnston. Joe was in the U.S. Navy, he was a retiree of General Electric, he enjoyed fishing, traveling, his pet birds, and enjoyed spending time outdoors, however most importantly he loved his family dearly.

Among those who preceded him in death are his parents, and his siblings, Thomas L. Johnston Jr, John Haydon Johnston, Jessie T. Johnston, Sydney R. Johnston, and Betty Jean Huber, Armilla Ann Neace, and Judy L. Mittel.

He leaves to cherish his memory his 2 brothers, James N. Johnson (Lois); and Richard A. Johnston ( Adrianne  ); 23 nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, from 2: 00 pm until 8:00 pm at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.). Cremation to follow.
