Joseph L. Johnston, Jr.

Mr. Joseph L. Johnston, Jr., age 65, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, returned to his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, November 26, 2024. He was born on March 11,1959 in Jefferson County, Kentucky. Mr. Johnston is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph L. and Elizabeth “Pape” Johnston.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 34 years, Teresa Johnston; son, Joey Johnston (Abby); daughters, Amanda Kaiser (Tim) and Kelci Pike (Anthony); grandchildren, Megan, Austin, Lane, Jozie, Lakeyn and Jace; brother, Darrell Johnston (Annette); sisters, Cindy Scott (Randy) and Julie Elkin (Cole); and a host of other dear family and friends.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at St. Luke Catholic Church 4211 Jim Hawkins Drive, Louisville, Ky 40229 with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects on Monday 1 pm till 8 pm in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd). and on 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
