Joseph "Joe Mac" McDaniel

Mr. Joseph “Joe Mac” McDaniel, age 77, of Louisville, KY, returned to his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, December 22, 2021. Joseph was born in Bowling Green, KY on October 11, 1944, to the late Julian Louis McDaniel and Printha Irene “McNeil” McDaniel. Joseph was in the U.S. Navy, worked for Philip Morris for 30 years, he loved duck hunting season, horses, dogs, he enjoyed the lake and boats but most of all he loved his family.

Among those who preceded him in death are his parents; 5 siblings Julian “Sonny” Louis McDaniel Jr, Patrick McDaniel, Flora Sautel, Jeanne Goble and Mary G. Jones.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 29 years Beatrice “Ringley” McDaniel; daughter Clara Jo “McDaniel” Johns (Eric), 2 grandchildren, Eric Wayne Johns Jr, (Allison), Cristopher Anthony Johns (Karissa) 5 great-grandchildren, Colten, Landon, Kasen, Ethan, Marissa, and Cole; 3 daughters Angela Morelock, Cynthia D. O’Connell, Michelle Byrd (Darrell); along with a host of nieces, nephews and family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road). Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, from 12: 00 pm until 6:00 pm. Burial will follow Wednesday, December 29, 2021, graveside at 11:00 a.m. at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
