Joseph Kelly Smith

Mr. Joseph Kelly Smith, age 52, of Taylorsville, KY returned to his Heavenly Father on Sunday, October 3, 2021. Mr. Smith was born in Louisville, KY on November 13, 1968. He was a journeyman pipefitter by trade. Mr. Smith treasured his family and pets and enjoyed spending time outdoors camping and fishing.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 28 years, Laura Smith; children, Jessica and Bradley Smith; parents, Marvin and Patricia Smith;  brother, Chris Smith (Felicia); sister, Donya Goode (Tim); niece, Alex Goode; mother-in-law; Donna Cochran; father-in-law, Richard Cochran and sister-in-law, Dawn Hobbs (Chad).

Funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. on Monday, October 11, 2021, in the chapel at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home- Mt. Washington (Hwy. 44 E. at 123 Winning Colors Dr.) with cremation to follow. Friends and family may pay their respects on Monday, October 11, 2021, from 12 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
