Kathryn Kendall

Kathryn Kendall, age 93 of Shepherdsville, Kentucky returned to her Heavenly Father on Friday, June 28, 2024, with loving family by her side. She was born on May 15, 1931, in Russellville, Kentucky to the late Raymond and Mamie (Thompson) Marshall.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Marie, Melissa and Martha. Kathryn’s pride and joy was her family, especially her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren where she was affectionately known as “Nana”.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Anthony Kendall; children, Anthony Wayne Kendall (Peggy S.), Ronald Earl “Ronnie” Kendall (Kathi), Sharon Diane Saunders, JoAnn Woods, Timothy Jacob “Timmy” Kendall (Tracy) and Martin Ray “Marty” Kendall (Julie); grandchildren, Zakary, Kasey, Elijah, Nick, James, Sabrina, Katie, Josh, Angie, Lauren, Maddie, Brittany and Matthew; sister, Evelyn Benson; numerous great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.Schoppenhorst, Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (Brooks Rd. at Preston Hwy.) is in charge of arrangements where the family will honor Mrs. Kendall’s wishes of cremation.
