Keith Kenneth Scott

Mr. Keith Kenneth Scott, age 95, of Brooks, KY returned to his Heavenly Father on Friday, June 16, 2023.   Mr. Scott was born in Scottsville, IN on March 15, 1928, to the late Sherman Scott and Hattie Hanover Scott.

He served in the United States Navy and was a veteran of WW II.  He retired from the Louisville Naval Ordinance and was a member of the Spencer County Saddle Club.

Besides his parents he is also preceded in death by his wife, Mattie B. Curry Scott; son-in-law, Steve Portman and eleven siblings.

He leaves to cherish his memory three daughters, Brenda Hoback (Danny), Kathy Riggle (Donald) and Faith Portman; two sons, Randall Scott (Cindy) and James Scott (Stephanie); nine grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; seven great- great-grandchildren and a host of other nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted at 11:30 am on Thursday, June 22, 2023, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with burial to follow in Highland Memory Gardens.  Friends may pay their respects on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, from 1 pm until 8 pm and on Thursday from 9 am until time of service at the funeral home.
