Kent Thompson, Jr.

Kent Thompson, Jr., age 38, of Louisville returned to his Heavenly Father on March 30, 2019. Kent was born on December 4, 1980 in Jefferson County, Kentucky to Mr. Kent Thompson, Sr. and the late Mrs. Mary Louise (Louton) Allen.

Among those that preceded him in death are his mother; and grandparents, Melvin and Catherine Thompson and William and Carletta Louton.

He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Kent Thompson III, Tyrin Thompson and Jacob Bunnell; sister, Megan Allen; brothers, Brent Thompson, Mike Abbott (Candace) and Jeff Abbott (Jenifier); and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and extended family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 5 pm on Friday, April 5, 2019 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with cremation to follow.
