Kimberlee Kay Young

Ms. Kimberlee (Kim) Kay Young was born September 23, 1968 in LaGrange, Kentucky.  She went to be with the Lord on September 3, 2021 after a battle with COVID-19. She graduated from Southern High School in 1986 and went on to earn her cosmetology license after studying at Hair Design School. She worked for the USPS as a mail carrier from 2005-2015. She was a member at Henry Christian Church in Eminence, KY. She was a kind, hardworking and spiritual woman and continued to be until her last breath. 

She is survived by her sister, Robin Bickel (Mike); two nieces, Shelby MacNaughton (Bobby) and Meagan Bickel and one great nephew, Jackson MacNaughton. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Marcus Young and her mother, Judith Young who passed away only four days following her death. 

There will be a service, in celebration of her life, on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at 2 pm with visitation beginning at 1 pm at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks at (4895 N Preston Hwy, Sheperdsville, KY.) Please attend only if you have been vaccinated and are willing to wear a mask.
