Larry Clark

Mr. Larry Wade Clark, age 77, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky returned to his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, November 28, 2018. Mr. Clark was born on April 5, 1941, in Greensburg, Kentucky. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force as a Cryptologist Linguist (signal-intelligence). After serving in the U.S. Air Force, he held a civil service position in quality control with the government. He began selling cars in 1968, and continued until his retirement in 2006.  Mr. Clark was an avid outdoorsman. After retirement, his love of fishing led him to the position of promotions consultant with Crappie USA.  Mr. Clark’s greatest achievement was that of loving husband, father, brother and neighbor. Among those that preceded him in death are his parents, Carlos and Gertie Clark; wife, Shirley Mae Clark and brother, Wayne Clark. He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter, Shelly Clark (Ryan); sisters, Kaye Yates and Carolyn Damskov; nephews, Martin Damskov and Clayton Yates and niece, Cassie Clagett. Memorial service will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, December 8, 2018 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.).
