Marlan Daniel Hester, age 65, of Louisville, KY returned to his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, October 3, 2023. He was born in Jefferson County, KY on June 20, 1958, to Dorothy Virginia Brewer Hester and the late Daniel Ray Hester.
He was a member of Otter Creek Separate Baptist Church in Taylor County.
He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Dorothy Virginia Hester and a host of aunts, cousins and friends.
Funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 am on Monday, October 9, 2023, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with burial to follow in Brookland Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Sunday, October 8, 2023, from 2 pm until 8 pm and on Monday from 9 am until time of service at the funeral home.
