She was preceded in death by her brother, Jackie Hornback.
Carol leaves to cherish her memory her children, Ashley Ernst (Dallas Young) and Billy Ernst; grandchildren, Haleigh and Jacob Young; parents, Lois Campton and Herman Ernst; brother, J.R. Ernst; sisters, Linda Banules Wilson, Christy Ernst-Webb, Carolyn Huskins and Cheyenne Ernst.
Funeral services will be conducted 7:30 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home with visitation Friday 1 pm until the time of the service. Interment in Hebron Cemetery 10 a.m. Saturday.
