Ms. Martha Louise Hampton, age 66, of Louisville, KY returned to her Heavenly Father on Saturday, October 27, 2018. Ms. Hampton was born on December 23, 1951, in Harlan, KY. She retired as a schoolteacher for Clark County, Winchester, KY.
Among those who preceded her in death are her parents, Cecil and Christine Hampton and nine siblings.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Yoshua Hampton (Ashleigh Staten); grandchildren, Cayden Owens, Emilie Myers and Zaven Hampton; sister, Thelma Barber; brother, Yereimah Hampton and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, November 2, 2018 at 5 p.m. in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with cremation to follow. Friends may pay their respects on Friday from 3 p.m. until the time of the service. www.subfuneralhome.com
