Martha Ann Price

Martha Ann Deutsch Price entered into eternal peace September 7, 2015. Her exceptional love and devotion for her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren was ever present in her daily life. Her Quiet and strong faith was demonstrated by the way she lived.

Married to Joseph Marvin Price (deceased) for 42 years, she was his constant companion and partner in life.

She is survived by their children, Jo Ann, Joe (Peggy), David (Charlene) and Julie, who were daily blessed by her love and support throughout all of their lives.

Born in Louisville, she was the daughter of Berthold William and Florence Stella (Markert) Deutsch. The sister of Leo Deutsch (Elsie).

She was a graduate of Fern Creek High School and the University of Kentucky.

She began a teaching career at the old Shepherdsville School and completed that career at Southern High School.

She was a teacher in the classroom and a teacher of life to all who were graced with her compassion, large love and quick and funny wit.

Though most grateful for God's grace in granting her peace, we will miss her generous spirit and sweet smile.

Funeral service will be held 2 P.M. Thursday in the chapel of Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks (Preston Highway at Brooks Road and use John Harper entrance) with private interment in Hebron Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects from 9 A.M. until 2 P.M. Thursday at Schoppenhorst.
