Mary Frances Milburn

Mrs. Mary Frances Milburn, age 99, of Louisville, Ky passed away peacefully on Friday, February 14, 2025, with her family by her side. She was born in Bradfordsville, Kentucky on October 15, 1925, to the late Walker Gribbins and Bertha (Cornett) Gribbins. Mary Frances was a retired bookkeeper from the old A&P Grocery Stores, a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, she was a dedicated and loving wife and mother and Mamaw to her family, she was a die-hard University of Kentucky fan, she also enjoyed working in her yard with her flowers. Mary Frances will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, late husband James S. Milburn, sons Billy Wayne Milburn, James Alan Milburn, 3 sisters Roberta Wilson, Alice Cox, Pauline Cox.   

She is survived by her son Rodney Milburn (Vicky), daughter Kimberly Connell (Dennis), 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren, sister Dorothy Jean Issacs, and sister-in-law- Dorothy Milburn, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other dear family and friends. A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. At Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home at 4895 N. Preston Hwy.  Burial will be at Old Liberty Cemetery in Marion County Kentucky.
