Matthew Allen Harbin

Matthew Allen Harbin, age 49, of Mt. Washington, KY returned to his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, December 11, 2018.  Matthew was born on September 3, 1969, in Louisville, KY. He was a millwright for Millwright Local 1076.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather who helped raise him, William Harbin “Papaw Fiddle.”

He leaves to cherish his memory, his sons, Alexander Hawk Harbin, Austin Hunter Harbin, Lucas Trey Harbin and Dallas Michael Harbin; mother, Paula Harbin; sister, Erica Rose (Eric); niece, Lola Mae Rose; nephew, Ronan Henry Rose and  grandmother, Alma Louise Harbin  “Grandma Cook Cook.”

Funeral service will be held on Monday, December 17, 2018 at 12 p.m. in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial to follow in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church Cemetery, Mt. Washington. Friends may pay their respects on Sunday, December 16, 2018 from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Monday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
